You who started a grassroots organization dedicated to protecting and educating our community....
You who had the courage to speak to other communities and get them involved....
You who took the time out of your personal lives to research environmental impacts....
You who had the courage to speak out publicly against a casino in your community....
You who continue to ask the questions that were never asked by the Middleboro BoS....
You who continue to believe in the freedom of speech and the voice of the average Joe...
You who fight for your homes, your families .... your communities....
You who believe in the actual practice of freedom of speech...
You who blog about the lies and misconseptions fed to us by those who are hungry with greed....
You who form the foundation of what this great nation is built upon - the right of freedom, liberty and the persuit of happiness...for all - not just a few at the expense of everyone else.
You who continue to fight against a casino in your community without fear...
and, last but certainly not least....
You who continue to tell the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, casino investors, flying monkeys and the federal government... "we're not gonna take it!"

...or perhaps you already have seen. This State and this region will not be bullied into silence or acceptance of "it's coming - you have no say" by casino interests, flying monkeys....or those who claim the myth of inevitability.

Your heartfelt, galvanizing words are a big bucket of cold water on that wicked casino witch who threw us into a tornado and sent us on a journey through hell. And a breath of fresh air after all the convolutions, lies and flying monkeys.
You know, CC, the Wizard never thought that ragtag gang from Oz would bring back the broomstick. But they did.
Did they do it by giving up on each other? Renegotiating for more time in the hourglass? Compromising with the witch for less water in the bucket?
Uh-uh.

With the IGA still in play, the spectre of a casino in Middleborough could hang around our necks, like a noose, for the next 20 years. It's time for the BOS to nix the deal!!

Just when I thought, "I'm getting battle fatigue", along came a breath of new strength with intelligence and "gets it!" and then puts it out there for the public to consume. You! re-newed, re-freshed, and gave me even more determination to make sure everyone knew about all things casino! I thank you! and am proud I can call you a dear friend.

you wrote this before the news cycle reported that 2 tribal council members had been 'suspended' and the shunned were 'unshunned.'
Some of you just knew deep inside how bad this deal was and you kept blogging when it appeared hope was gone. You kept blogging when the irrational raised insane issues, called you names and much else.
Thank all of you for your courage to rise above, keep researching, sticking to the facts and continuing to provide HOPE!

Another great blog - thank you for your insightful and educational blogs - always grounded in research and truth!
I am still shocked by the number of my neighbors, acquaintances, and co-workers in Middleboro who still, even after all that has transpired in the last 30 days, feel that the casino is coming because our Board of Selectmen continue to say so.
Even though we all know so much more than that fateful summer of 2007, there is still much work to be done. I will continue to steer those that have been wrongly informed to your blogs.
Friday was the day they counted bald eagles at Assawomset and your logo includes that magnificent soaring raptor! What a day! And what a few weeks. Your blogging has inspired and encouraged others to continue to speak out.

It has been disappointing that the pros resorted to personal attacks and irrational comments and outright lies.
When Carcieri v Kempthorne is published, they will have no outlet for their venom.
Fearsome has mostly disappeared with his 'inevitable.'
Now the politicians have to figure it out again. Maybe a few will go to prison.
You have spoken the truth and fought with the facts. You can stand tall with pride.
We would have been lost without you faithful bloggers who have withstood the personal attacks and lies of those who have no facts on their side.
I would support you any day over a convicted rapist and serial liar and a wife batterer. More will fall with further investigations. Who will it be?
