Too bad the Tribal Government, aka, Cedric Cromwell is actually bamboozling the town of Taunton much in the same way convicted felon Glenn Marshall tried to bamboozle the town of Middleboro. This video sums it up for me....it is why we continue to spread the truth...to get to the other side - the side that knows that this tribal government is corrupt and will never get Land in Trust in any town in this State. It disgusts me that that our state government would even consider signing a compact with this Tribe knowing damned well that it means NOTHING without actually having land in trust. Have we learned nothing over the past five years? Governor Patrick....and Mayor Hoye....you should be ashamed of yourselves for even entertaining this - shame on you both.

The Poultry Project 2012
I felt the need to re-post this video created by my favorite anti-casino blogger - Gladys Kravitz...in light of the harassment she has once again received, and the renewed attacks I and some of my close friends who really do understand and know Federal Indian Policy have endured on an obviously pro-tribal indian casino facebook page calling us racists and thugs for posting the truth about the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and their casino pipedream. As I said before, and I will say it again -- the town may have changed, but the laws haven't.

I wrote this is a blog post titled Horseflies in the midst of the ensuing stupidfest:
"Some people are just like horse flies. And you can't argue about things like quality of life with people only motivated by greed, ego or other dark forces. It's pointless."
Walking with your head held high is hard when it's being divebombed by horse flies. But remember, when you deal with people who call you a 'racist' and a'thug' it's because you speak the truth, and because you speak it effectively.
Horseflies don't bother each other. They just feast on poop and bite the living.
"So, always, keep supporting the cause and each other, but please, stop trying to argue with horse flies. Because you can't."
"Just keep right on walking."
And don't forget, the Kool-Aid drinker even had the audacity to petition to ban us from the sight. Higher minded individuals prevailed. The others don't want to learn from the past of experience of others.
It is funny since there will be no tribal casino in Taunton or anywhere else in MA, it looks like Captain Casino A Hoye will be going down with the ship when it never comes.

Let the Governor sign a compact. We'll be casing free in southeastern MA for about 7 - 10 years while the pro-casino people eagerly follow the yellow brick road-thinking they are going to see OZ, but only at the end realizing there is no OZ, only a man hiding behind a curtain and tricking people into thinking that he has something wonderful to offer.
Sign Governor, sign!!!
